Missions

January: Cup of Cool Water

Our Mission: To show up alongside youth who are homeless on their journey of reconciliations with themselves, God, and society.

For more than 22 years, Cup of Cool Water has served Spokane’s youth who are homeless providing a safe space where they can experience hope, love and belonging.

We cultivate relationships with each youth while providing services including meals, clothes, showers, mentorship, education, and the knowledge that God loves them.

February: Diamond J Rodeo Camp

Our purpose is to reach the farmer, rancher, rodeo cowboy, and those associated with the western world lifestyle not being reached by traditional methods. Our intention is to break down the religious walls and meet people where they are.
Locally and abroad, Diamond J Cowboy Ministries affects thousands of youth and adults, many come to Cowboy Church, are saved, and then discipled. If you love excitement, Diamond J Cowboy Ministries invites others to join up for a faith filled adventure.

March: Heritage Connection Committee

The Connection Committee began during the 2017-2018 school year with the goal of connecting with our high school graduates as they begin their collage journeys. The committee operates on a “school year calendar” and follows students throughout their college careers. We also like to show our love and support to our church family’s high school graduates who may be entering into the workforce or taking other paths in their first year out of high school.

April: Teen Challenge

Our mission is to provide teens & adults freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues through
Christ-centered solutions. The National Office strives to accomplish that mission by empowering, educating, and equipping the local centers.

We want to provide people with hope for a new drug-free future through the power of Jesus.

We provide curriculum for students and training tools so they can learn dependence on God. Our programs foster role clarity and place tools in their hands to learn a new way of living.

We are stronger together. Our office nurtures resource connections and seeks out funding options to strengthen the ministries. We also pursue legislative positional opinions to remove barriers that stand in the way.

July: Sacred Roads Ministry

Loving our “First Neighbors”

Did you know that our neighbors are living in conditions that rival many third world nations? Since the 1855 treaty, which established the Yakama Indian reservation in Washington State, the culture, families, and dreams of the Yakama people have steadily disintegrated. Sacred Road Ministries (SRM) was incorporated in 2005, with a burden to love our “first neighbors.” Since then, the Lord has equipped the ministry to love our “first neighbors” by redeeming broken lives, restoring hope to the oppressed, and rebuilding the communities on both the Yakama and Warm Springs reservations.

August: Foxes
Brad & Maddie Fox, Allakaket, Alaska Years ago, we believed the Lord was leading out family (Ruth, age 16 and Naomi, age 15) to do church planting in the remote villages of Alaska.  We sought the Lord and He led us to join SEND International. After seeking God, again, about which village He wanted us to commit to living in, He opened up doors for us to move to Allakaket . We tell people that out ministry is the Word and people—we have kid’s Bible adult Bible studies, visit homes and participate in all of the community events.
