Missions
We support several local, regional, and global missions. Locally, we contribute to the schools backpack program which is run through 2nd Harvest Food Bank and provides weekend food assistance to low-income children. With the help of others in our community, we also provide an after school program for the elementary students at our school. Regionally, we support organizations like, Cup Of Cool Water – a ministry to downtown teens and young adults on the streets; Union Gospel Mission – a men’s homeless shelter; Annie Ogden Hall – A women’s and children homeless shelter; Life Services of Spokane – a crisis pregnancy advocacy group; Embrace Washington – From duffel bags to finding a forever home, Embrace Washington is changing lives, one foster child at a time; and the Gideons. Globally, we support John and Bonnie Gilbert of 99+1 Ministries in San Felipe Mexico; and Ryan and Stacey Helbling of Global Effect in Moshi, Tanzania. We also support Operation Christmas Child and do an annual packing party to put together boxes to ship to children around the world.
